Why These K-Beauty Wonder Pads Became My Skincare Holy Grail
Let me start with a confession: I am lazy about exfoliating. Bottles of acid toner have gone off in my cabinet because measuring liquid onto a cotton round at eleven at night felt like too much work.

A pad removes that step. It is soaked, it is measured, and it is one movement from jar to face. That is the whole reason it stuck when nothing else did.
What Is On the Pad
The pads are built around willow bark water rather than plain water, with AHA and PHA doing the exfoliating. AHA works on the surface, loosening dead cells so texture evens out. PHA is the gentler of the two and holds water while it works, which is why the combination suits sensitive skin better than a single strong acid would.
Truecica and houttuynia cordata extract handle the calming side, and the pads are kept weakly acidic to sit close to the skin's own pH.
Skin Types That Do Well With Them
Congested skin with visible bumps around the nose and chin. Oily skin where makeup grabs at flaky patches by afternoon. Skin that looks grey by the end of the week.
Skin that is currently sore or peeling should wait. Repair the barrier first, then bring exfoliation back once the sensitivity has gone.
Using Them Without Overdoing It
Twice a week to begin with, always at night, on clean and dry skin. Sweep the textured side outward from the centre of the face and stay away from the eye area.
Follow with a moisturiser straight after. Do not add another acid or a retinol on the same night. If skin feels fine after two weeks you can move to three nights, and most people never need more than that.
Results Worth Expecting
The first thing you notice is how much smoother foundation goes on. Texture around the nose settles over three or four weeks, and blackheads look less obvious rather than disappearing altogether.
Because acids leave fresh skin at the surface, daytime sun protection stops being optional. That applies to lips as much as the rest of the face.
Building the Rest of the Routine Around Them
Barrier care on the nights in between, a sheet mask when skin feels flat, and a spot patch for anything that comes up on its own. That combination keeps exfoliation useful instead of overwhelming.
